I think youll be disappointed. S55 is on another planet. Performance wise its not really comparable. The Lotus will look and sound better though. On a track or in a straight line the M2 will absolutely destroy it.

No it's not. It's much slower than my 2008 m3 which is 400 hp and weighs 600 lbs more. A GTS 4.0 does 100-200kph in well under 10 seconds....That's a massive difference

I would say pretty identical to the GT but as @frazzer said it will vary on driving style. I would get about 12mpg and have zero regrets everytime I filled up lol. Also the touring with the eagle tires will get better mpg than the sport with cup2s as the rolling resistance will be greater.
Yeah it is what it is. Lotus is a brand that you have to really like/love to buy one. Kinda hard to have those feelings after this happened. Life goes on though :)
