I only picked mine up yesterday and done a couple of hundred miles. its brand new with 10 miles showing. No issue at all up or down, i would prefer more of a "click" but thats personal taste and I am coming from a McLaren.
I was at Millbrook Proving ground last week for a couple of days. There was a couple of i4's there, they sounded pretty decent to be honest, i heard them being pushed but not flat out. I had an RS3 and in my opinion, the Emira sounded nicer. HOWEVER!, flat out in 3rd and 4th and doing 150mph...
It makes sense to start lower bhp and they have a readily available step up that is tried and tested either to 410 or 430. Here’s my conspiracy theory: watch the original launch video, there’s a few seconds of the dash showing boost at 2.2bar and 496bhp. That’s my guess for the R variant...
From what I understand no difference other than the mapping and the exhaust. Is it simply that the Emira gets 400bhp, the S variant will be higher and the R variant higher again?
there are a few cancellations, but from what I understand, Lotus have a lot more capacity, 2nd shift is up and running and all the production for USA is on hold, so they can focus on UK and R.O.W

Hi. Yes the change config worked on mine all ok. Seems like its quite a generic email and every bugger has got it! Delivery is still based on deposit and config dates and if you speak to CS they can’t actually tell you how much earlier.
Same email for me, I put my deposit down 4 weeks ago. It does still say priority will still be given based on deposit date and config lock date. Mines for a V6 auto so maybe get it late this year or early next year?? I’ve just bought a cancelled order from a dealer anyway while I wait for my V6...
