I wasn't comparing the steering of the two brands. The steering of the Emira is good, but I was comparing it to the first Emira test drive I did. Felt less good, less special for some reason. Maybe just had too high expectations.

Fair point. Different price point and competition. I was just trying to assess my current situation and determine if it was worth it. True, Porsche MSRP has increased a lot lately. Can't say Porsches are good value, they are just good.

Thanks, this is actually helpful. Because the Emira doesn't have a fraction of the crazy options that Porsche configurator has, I would not be too worried about not speccing it myself. I do like the HY better than other colors. So I'm thinking about rolling the dice.

I've and E46 M3 and has definitely been driven less after the 911 arrived. Great car though. Sell me your 1M.

Clearplex on my 911 T since April of this year. Has saved me a few times. No noticeable distortion but I am not as OCD as some folks in rennlist. No scratches. I can see it lasting 2y easily. If your car will see highways often, I think it can save you from many headaches.

Hethel Yellow one spotted in 85 (I think) towards Mountain View. I was in a blue carrera T and gave you a thumbs up. Beautiful car, I'm a fan of that color and will order a Base one!
