I had years ago a 1970 Jag 2+2 and while thinking on Lotus Emira purchase I really stated thinking another XKE purchase that would have
been close to same price.. But even with XKE restored it still is 1960's handling and that is reason Emira Purchase... I own a custom Polaris Slingshot
that...
Not much more can be said on topic other than how much percentage and how long to interfere with American Buying...
If I say any more it is just anger towards our new king..
I had a similar creaking noise on a Vanderhall Carmel last year and I would have swore up and down it
was frame issue..
I sprayed everything with WD 40 and few other lubes and nothing worked..
Took body off shaking the 3 wheeler side to side with roll bars.
Jacked up and drop down...
Just stated...
As long as you do not have noise or issues you will not need Amazon Tape..
But these Emira's all have unusual issues and at times better for owner to correct than have

So today I finally got the headliner to stop making noise after 400 miles and I noticed the access cover had good
amount of movement ..Removed 3 screws and found all brackets to access cover were all loose by 4 threads on all of them..
So another 600 miles and oil change and put into sport/Track...
Well I have tried 3M rubber tape across the whole back window and I drive it 10 or so miles no noise then it starts.
I come home and push the headliner up into roof and I can still hear the noise..
So think next few weeks going to call Lotus and take it in ..
If this was not a brand new car I...
I found this on Amazon Wall Corner Protector and does inside and outside corners..
If the 3M double sticky tape does not do it I will purchase and do believe this will have
enough strength to hold headliner from flexing.....
