Unfortunately you can throw as much technology and money at a company as you like, but if you fail to change the CULTURE then you'll not really change the results.

I think what is most disappointing here is that quite a number of these issues were actually present on the Evora I picked up in 2016.
I had hoped re-using that platform and actually having some money to properly develop it would mean the cars were now solid. Apparently not.

If it's attached to the engine and you change it, expect any manufacturer to use it to back out of a warranty claim, no matter how unrelated it might be.
Of course if you put a decat onnand your suspension fell off, then that's different.
A decade ago there was a plan for a hybrid Evora, the thing was designed for a variety of powertrain options.
They put the battery where the back seats went. Makes sense - centres the mass etc

Lotus are a bit like my grandmother.
My Dad tells me she was constantly moaning about people coming into her house and drinking her drink and eating her food and making noise.

I'm not happy about that, and would have mentioned it if I had known in advance.
Communication from Lotus seems consistently poor, and some have suggested the price you pay is related to delivery not order date - which is a very poor show if true.
FWIW and I am sure @shaank won't mind me saying - the yellow calipers are neither a match for the yellow paintwork, or the Lotus badge. They're a kind of "Day-glo" colour. Would look great on most things but not the yellow.
Short version - I got treated like garbage by my dealer over a major mechanical issue with my Evora (supercharger failed, got told I "wasn't their problem" because I hadn't used them for servicing), after that sold the car and made a video explaining why.
