I don't have one on hand. but I can tell you, in general it's not very perceivably bright. Maybe it's 'better' on the passenger side for us US folks but my recollection is it is a very soft blue-ish light. It's very subtle and I have to be reminded it's there.
I don't think a V8 is too big. Granted, if we just pushed the V6 out to a V8 in size it would only be a 4.6 Liter. So, I'll grant you that your options for V8 Might only be bigger than that and start taking up more room than is present.

I ran track mode. Never had an issue, car stepped out once or twice but I wasn't looking at the dash to see how many lights came on. There's still a full disable button for ESC and Traction even beyond putting into Track.
