I was interested to read that Jennifer Andriamamonjy who came up with the interior design concept for the Emira was inspired by the Esprit Series 1.
You can actually see the influence when you compare her design sketches with the old Esprit. I've always felt that the low passenger side dashboard in the Emira has a cool 1970s vibe— now I know why.
BTW, Jennifer has since been poached by Gordon Murray Automotive to be a Senior Car Designer!
