New Owner - Yellow V6 - Brentwood Essex

I've had a Elise S1 111S since 1999 (T-reg) but decided I was getting a bit old for it - specifically getting in and out.

So now the owner of a 72-reg Emira V6, sports suspension, just the lower blackpack so a nice yellow roof, Milltek exhaust. I picked it up yesterday from South Yorkshire.

Only 2k on the clock, dealer told me first owner was Lotus, registered in Chelmsford near me. Then owned by someone near Liverpool - named "Serge" judging by the Bluetooth settings that hadn't been cleared. If anyone knows who this previous owner is - I could do with getting in touch - Milltek exhaust fitted and I would like to ask if they have any details about that.

Hi Geoff,

I’m not a million miles away from Brentwood (Goffs Oak). Mine’s in the garage at the moment, but maybe we could do a meet up at some point, when mine is back, for people in the area.

Nice. I'm sure I'll be going to some on the SELOC (https://forums.seloc.org/) events over the year, as a long time lapsed member it's been many many years since I last did a Fish & Chipshop run but will be trying to get on some runs & events this year again - probably see you there...

I'd not seen an Emira in the flesh at all until I did my test drive - I still haven't seen another on the road :(
I saw an Evora this weekend though whilst out in the new Emira, we gave each other a wave.

Hopefully, I'll get on a few SELOC runs/events this year and maybe see you there!

I'm a long time reader of the forum but just joined to post this!
Also on SELOC - had an S1 Elise 111S 15+ years ago - I've done a few Walshy days in my Emira which I picked up in April '23.
I'm also a member of LDC - another great Lotus community.
I know of another Lotus owner in Loughton (Exige) - sounds like there is enough of us for a local meet up! ;-)

South Suffolk for me, I'd be up for a meet somewhere Essex/Suffolk. Also on Seloc, LDC and Club Lotus

It would be good to meet up with you as by the above picture I presume you wrote the article in Chicane about your trip to the Arctic circle. I'm looking at going there next year in the Emira. Be interesting to have a chat about it!

Hi yes I did, very happy to catch up, I can't recommend the drive enough, we had a great time, just needed to be longer.
