Saw this photoshopped photo on another forum. Might be interesting to mock this up on an Emira with black gaffer tape and see if modding the front with black vinyl or ppf would work.

I posted this PS on my story, wrapping the front black to look similar to the Evija style. Votes were 50/50. To get the OP look someone would have to create a new aftermarket bumper.

I hope they reconfigure it to be hybrid. They even put the battery where the engine would be to give the weight balance of a mid engine car. Seems like its set up well for the conversion.

Unfortunately Lotus doesn't have an ICE powertrain that suits the million-dollar price tag. If they could source an AMG V12 like Pagani that would be awesome.

I did this some time ago with some cheap black vinyl wrap to play with how low on to the bumper i would want to go. Personally i am a fan but all tastes are different.

I like it too, but I also have no issues with the original bumper design. This would be an easy cosmetic detail for Lotus to include on the mythical "Type R" Emira to differentiate it.

If they put a Cosworth engine/drivetrain in it like Gordon Murray, they'd sell all they can make, and probably for a lot higher price

Some more ideas, stolen from the Internet. I really want to do something like the orange car. I wonder if some body-colored stripes on the lower front splitter like that helps break up the stretch of black and adds "character".

Could do something like this leaving just the front of the center section body color. That would leave a clean line between the blacked out sections and the body color across the bottom.
