I'll add a few more data points here. My car is the 6MT with touring suspension.

Some observations.

- OEM fluid can't handle the heat of track duty, even when it's fresh. I got soft pedal on 1 day old fluid from dealer.
- EBC SR-11 brake pads have too much friction for street tires, they're meant for slicks. Totally undriveable on the street.
- EBC RP-1 worked great together with Sport Cup 2's (LTS spec).
- Touring suspension is way too soft, I've got Nitrons coming, will track them a couple of times then report back.
- I've tracked the OEM SuperSports, the OEM PS Cup 2's, and now I'll be trying Dunlop Sport MAXX Race (80 treadwear tire). The SuperSports overheat in ~5 laps at laguna seca. Cup 2's were much better, lasted 25 minute session. Both feel very similar, but Cup 2's are a tiny bit more grippy. Other than heat management, surprisingly little difference. The dunlops will be for my next track day. I have a set of GRP forged monoblock wheels now.
Surprised that there isn't much difference between SS and Cup2. I was contemplating switching from SS to AD09 (a lot cheaper than Cup2) or SportContact 7 to keep some street drivability in the wet and longer life.

The huge difference between SS and Cup2 was heat tolerance. I bet the SS is better in the cold too, but it doesn't get cold where I live.

Just took my Emira to the track first time yesterday. Here are some of my impressions so far:
- The car drives super well on track. As a track novice I did not push it too hard. Very balanced chassis overall. It did tend to understeer but not too bad.
- I tried both Sport and Track mode. The TC did not kick in. Rear end was very stable compared to my previous GR Supra.
- Cup 2 tires provided excellent grip, and they did not overheat during my sessions.
- I changed the brake fluid, so it was holding up well. The brake was strong for the first few laps, but the OEM pads started to fade after that.
- The manual gear box was a bit hard to work with on track. I had GRP short shifter installed. It made the 2-3 shift smoother but also more difficult to tell which gear it's going into.
- I also experienced the power cutoff when I hit the rev limiter as I didn't want to upshift in the middle of a corner. It was like hitting the brakes. I wished there could be a few more hundreds of RPMs to play with.
- The car sounds great on track. I had GRP intake filter, 3rd cat delete and VC all open. Personally, I think it sounds better than GTS4.0 (also on track).
- The seat is worst part. It was fine on the streets, but it barely provided any bolstering on track. I struggled to keep my body up in corners.
