I wonder, do modern car LED headlights / tail lights have that same "fluttering" / framerate problem with still photographs as they do with videos? (I.e.: where it looks like the headlight is "blinking" or slowly working its way around in a circle like a snake game) But then again, the headlights seem fine...

The Emira tail lights all seemed fine in these Top Gear photographs from earlier this year...

Good thinking… Could well be that ‘pulsing’ dimmer effect that cameras catch but the human eye doesn’t.

LED lights pulse 60x per second normally. Meaning if that camera has a shutter speed of 1/120th if a second, then it will likely not catch all of them lighting up. If you wave an led light in front of your eyes quickly back and forth, it will appear to strobe, because your eyes can start to separate the pulses without it just sitting still in front of you.

I see that @Bilbao-Emira answered the question (thanks, I also didn't know that!), but I went back and checked, and you can see the tail light in action at the 2 minute mark of this video.

The above is exactly what I've ordered, exactly my spec. I have also been told last week my car is in Quality Assurance. And that video has a car of my exact spec, going through QA.... could actually be mine I guess
