I have the roof in "seneca blue" and I would like to try a carbon wrap (3M) only the central part without the uprights, what do you think? Does anyone have a way to simulate this configuration?

Simulating a decent take on it would take more effort than actually doing it. Go buy $40 in CF vinyl and just do it. Roof is probably the easiest panel to do.

I don't have a quick way to separate out the uprights, but this is in the right direction. Personally I'd leave it alone, I love the roof in body color.

If you're going to slap a bunch of vinyl on the roof, there's really only one option:

(try not to think of Austin Powers theme)

Fake it til you make it ;-). Not a big fan of using fake carbon plastic on cars. I would opt for black...looks nice as well.

For sure I think it looks good on Shadow Grey. Maybe Nimbus. I don't think it would look that good on the colors. Just my 2cents too.

That Union Jack roof looks excellent.. I didn;'t even think about that.
Maybe in a couple of years I will do some major external tinkering.
