Agreed! And also a huge shout-out to that ice grey leather interior on the above car, which I feel adds a ton of visual interest too!

Yeah 100% correct. I saw an i4 with and without the engine cover at Hethel early June and it's really not a pretty sight without the engine cover. It sit's quite low so you need to peer into the window to actually see it. A few people I was with commented on the same.
I believe this AMG 2.0 turbo engine requires to be “enclosed” for proper temperature management.

High tech, however nothing to showcase from a viewing perspective...Privacy glass would be mandatory to hide that ugly plastic cover.
Sure, but this one comes with an engine that's designed to be operating at 30.5psi -- stock. Typically need a decently sized compressor housing to achieve this.
Very purposeful and business-like. Made to be one of the most efficient and powerful engines ever (in relation to its compact size). It is devoid of styling for styling’s sake.Yeah that and it looks pretty bad too
