Hey all, looking for some advice. I have my Emira at Galpin Auto Sports getting some parts fitted. Seems like they're having issues with the decat pipe (ugh) and the wheel spacers. Any thoughts? I've never heard anyone having issues from the wheel spacers.

Dan - that new look with the 12mm spacers Front and Back is really perfect. These all standard GRP? I've hear "wobble" issues in the front with spacers? Also, what length stud kit did you get to accomodate? Thanks man!

Limiting factor will be the rear axle boots, give it 2-3mm of clearance. You’ll see what I mean when you install it.

Do you have a part number? I can't find spacers for the Emira on their website.

I have the grp lowering kit with their 10mm spacers and have vibration at 70-75+ mph. I will have to give a try to the komotec H&R one.

You probably have a 50/50 shot of those spacers without the lip causing a vibration. On the advice of several forum members that tried that style and had problems I went with the 12mm with lip from PCD Parts. https://www.ebay.com/itm/126093879482

A little more offset on the front will be fine on your lowered setup. The front tyre is still slightly inset from the arch in your picture. Maybe I’ll get the GRP lowering kit, or maybe coilovers, but need to be careful where I live, there are some bad roads about nearby.

I bought the PCDs through their Ebay site. PCD 12mm spacers Just finished install and road tested on the turnpike. ZERO vibration.

They sit inside the wheel well a bit, which I may correct with a spacer. However, having them inside seems to make sense in winter driving conditions. SeaSucker ski rack should be here mid-next week. I'll post photos with ski on (queue James Bond theme music) soon!

Just installed the GRP lowering kit and the 10mm spacers. From seeing other guys with the lowering kit, I thought it was not going to be low enough. But once they settled, I think it is the perfect amount when you max out 25mm. The horrible wheel gap is gone. The spacers on the other hand...

If no other options, I guess, however just a matter of time before road forces impact that balance. I've had great success with future classics on both porsche and BMW. I will give GRP a try, just wish they had a 10 or 15....

I'm on touring now but thinking of going the same setup as you. Would be great to have a more indepth review once your had a change to drive with comparision to standard. There seems to be little info out there in terms of Emira suspension setup.

I have asked a few manufacturers, and the minimum to go hub centric is 11mm, which is unnoticeable from a 10.

are the spacers hubcentric and do they have a lip for the wheels to slot in? If they are not there is a chance you may experience vibrations.

Myself along with many others are running 12mm spacers on standard rims. At standard height I’d say 10mm front, 12mm rear is about flush. With any lowering, you can increase to maybe 12mm front, 15mm rear to be flush.

You mind taking another photo with some distance and angle? Spacers fill out the wheel well even from other angles. I also think 10/12 is probably the way to go.

First time taking it out after GRP lowering sleeves and 12mm spacers installed. Before the height difference made the Emira slightly less supercar looking next to the others at exotic meets. Now that’s gone, the height and gap is the same or even less.

11mm is the minimum to go hub centric as far as I know, and will stay within the fender even in standard ride height.

I installed the 6 mm GRP (BOE) spacers together with the V2 Aerie forged wheels and Cup 2's and titanium bolts and nuts from GRP, Very happy with the dynamics. No vibration at all

I am 15mm + lower and use GRP 12.5mm spacers without issue.

But then it would be tipped backwards unless you countered it with another spacer in the back. There should be a way to make runners that slide forward at an incline without changing the seat angle.
