@silent cilantro hi, your car looks awesome 👍 did you happen to lower your car? And add spacer? I'm also looking to lower/add spacer with carbon kits installed but don't know how low I should go. I also live in LA and with horrible road condition we have I'm sacred to even lowering it.
I wrapped mine with STEK PPF and added GRP cat delete, Ti exhaust, cold air intake, and short shift kit. I've kept the stock wheels for now, but I want to lower it and add some wheel spacers.
...makes probably isn’t a whole lot. Assuming the wheels and tires are the same width as stock, you’re increasing the track. A lot of people put spacers on their Emiras with the stock wheels with reportedly negligible changes in day-to-day driving feel.
3) No idea about rubbing. Best bet might...

What offset (versus standard) are you running on your lowered Emira?
I get that you need more offset when lowered, but I still do feel the standard Emira needs a little more offset than standard to avoid the wheels looking slightly inset (when lowered the Emira looks noticeably/significantly...
I have ordered the filter from grp. How to replace the filter DIY? Easy? Is there any manual for it? Also ordered the spacers.. what are the torque specs doe the bolts? Thanks
Had my shop do a 1K (~1200) mile oil change and pop in a magnetic drain plug. EBC Redstuff pads, Milltek controller, GRP decat, and GRP spacers installed.
All I can say is hot damn! The third cat delete + Milltek controller is absolutely amazing and it now sounds extremely proper. Must have...
I ordered mine from PCD as well, but I special ordered 10mm for front and rear instead and they turned out to fit well in my opinion. I was looking for a wider stance look but wanted to avoid making it look too obvious. In my case, I've kept wheels, shocks and height OEM.
No only mods to the car sports cat and miltek, i will be lowering via the circlips (free lowering) fitting 12mm spacers and a front spoiler next (i would love a set of extended diffuser bars as well but waiting until grP gloss black becomes available as i don’t dig the carbon look done that...
I used to have to use this method as well on the BMW with a 7.5mm spacer to clear struts with track tires. It's not a fun process to get them perfectly aligned but it works. Eventually someone developed a hub extender and spacer combo that made for a 7.5mm spacer with a hub lip - but I don't...
I wouldn’t do spacers without hub centric and a lip, I think this means you have to go at least 10 or 12mm. I just wouldn’t want to deal with any vibration issues.
Found out today that the rear OEM wheels on the Emira Turbo are ET64 not ET54 as stated everywhere (including the suppliers website/product listing @Aerie ). So the rear wheels stick out 10mm more than they should have and basically look ridiculous.
Found this out after the tyres, new TPMS and...
Got rid of the old 10MM GRP spacers which were horrible and replaced them with the new-hub centric 12's from GRP. Pictured below with the GRP lowering kit. I think this is the perfect combo for much needed poke and stance.
...of the small bolts securing the underside panel.
2) I do have to agree with Galpin's recommendation however to opt instead for Hub-centric spacers, as these offer a more precise fitting and reduce the risk of wheel vibration. I have them on two of my other cars and never experienced any...
...I have found GRP the best supplier so far for Emira mods.. i live in Dubai and keep ordering from the US as there is nothing else. More mods awaiting, im waiting for his straight cut tail pipes in brushed titanium and matte carbon, spacers, steering wheel in alcantara with matte carbon etc
After a month of installing the GRP kit, the suspension is finally settled (2300km overall), I wish I have listened to my tuner and go for 15mm extra ET on my new set of wheels. 12mm is safe, but 15 has the best look.
I just installed 12mm hub centric spacers from GRP and lowering sleeves. Also did CT carbon full kit and it looks awsome. Prior to this installation, I also did 3 rd cat delete with miltek valve control and eventuri Intake. So far no issue whatsoever just happy with the result.
You got it! Just the 6mm spacers from Greg Race Parts, and titanium bolts to shave some weight.
With these rims and Cup 2´s I find it more agile in reactions, even more communicative.
Stance looks good. You're still at stock ride height correct? Looks perfect the way it is...I'm assuming no rubbing front or rear or you would have mentioned it...
No, I bought longer bolts, 45mm if I’m not mistaken. 32mm as standard.
The spacers used on the Emira are not the type that bolt to the hub, with additional bolts to the wheels. The hub centric feature on the doacer, should avoid any misalignment.
The small issue I had was a wheel balance...
...company that suggested it or it wouldn’t look like there was a stripe going over the black gloss roof.
I was very impressed with the GRP 12.5mm hub centric spacers that not only give it a better stance but it also makes it look lower than the 15mm drop I did when I fitted the Nitron coil overs.
Yes wheel spacers is a must after dropping. Lotus Service centre did it for me. Think they dropped it about 1.5/2cm ish to keep the ride quality. I feel no difference I have sport suspension and rides pretty much the same not much stiffer tbh. I just scraped the bottom once on a hump so its defo...
