Same thing is happening in Japan which was the largest market of Lotus in Elise era, but they never let even test drive yet. So, I changed my mind to think this situation as “Lotus is working hard to preparing, shooting issues, and getting quality up for us”.

Since my local dealer and I don’t have any detail of BE options, I haven’t drop the 2nd deposit. If (even the fastest) BE will be affected, then it might be highter price than FE + wrapping cost! 😱

From my experience with Elise and Exige, no need to worry, it is Lotus as usual. When I fasten my seat belt, when I look around, when I reseat, etc. they made noises. It won't bother you for long. I’m sorry to hear your frustration with dealer. Hope it would be solved when you found the another...

Some colours had car name because they were the exclusive colours. e.g. Elise blue. (But Final Edition of Elise and Exige, could had other car’s colour. Like Exige + Elise Blue, Elise + Evora Silver, etc.) Anyways, I still cannot believe the Emira will have those colours in the future yet. If...

Don’t forget that the Emira is the final Lotus’s car to saying good bye to petrol. So, Emira is the most suitable to the black badge, IMO.

Base options unveiled? I’m going for white BE, but dealer says no information at all so am planning to switch to dealer’s pre-ordered FE in some point soon.

Small, but I am planning to add the Emira logo under the LOTUS on rear. And maybe adding some accent stripes as PB racing does. When I wrap it in white in the future, leave the back from around the rear wheel in the original colour. (currently no image)
