Has anyone that is waiting for a car from North Jersey Lotus had their Emira off loaded from the Atlantic Sea in NJ on 30th/1st gotten confirmation from their dealer that they will for sure be trucking the cars to Baltimore, only to be sent back to NJ? Did they give you a turnaround time given...
Yeah... port Newark is like 20 min from Lotus of NJ. I can't see how the logistical cost of sending it to Baltimore and back makes sense unless they have no other choice. Time will tell.
Yep... I'm on this one too. Very curious to see the logistics now for vehicles unloaded in Newark. I'm a Lotus of NJ order. Would be a shame if they actually have to get to Baltimore to be checked in only to come all the way back. This boat that is unloading now will be very telling in the...
BUT if they said it was on a boat, it could be the one docking "soon"... lol. Still hoping it's the one unloading today.
I'm #9... so I sure hope to get that email soon!!
I was wondering the same thing... or is the above mentioned boat the one that was SUPPOSED to arrive on the 19th... and was delayed because Lotus was attached?? :ROFLMAO:
First wave Lotus of NJ order here... patiently waiting. Your list showed 0471 and then skipped to 0475... I'm 0473 😡😡😡
You're doing God's work, Nova... most appreciated!
Lotus of NJ. They've been great... called me the Monday after CARB passed and told me all the CARB state vehicles were in covered storage and that they were gonna scramble some boats to try to get them over here.

This is an excerpt from a section in the above rule:
The fact that add-ons aren’t required. When making any representation, expressly or by implication, about an add-on product or...
I'm not familiar with the specific laws of your state, but in NJ what they are doing is illegal, and I believe it is in most states. Again, unless they've had you unknowingly sign somewhere saying you agreed to those "aftermarket products and services", they have no right to force them upon...
I'm fairly certain that no "optional products" are allowed to be forced upon a customer; You have legal rights there. If you signed an initial order to purchase the vehicle at MSRP, they can charge you their DOC fee that they charge all customers. From there, nothing else is required on an...
I'm hoping this thread can be a place with up to date posts for "Emiras on the water". In the US/Canada Deliveries forum, there have been a number of you that have found ways to search various shipping manifests and found the VIN #s on certain ships headed this way. I'm sure I'm not alone in...
I can't see how a dealer can Ceramic Coat with anything "real" without permission... if anyone is going to PPF, doesn't that have to happen BEFORE ceramic coat?
...also doing my part as a CARB state impatiently waiting early depositor to get this thread to 500!!!
When are our CARB state vehicle boats getting on the water?!?!?!?!?
I'm not sure how this is "deceptive" as it seems they disclosed exactly what they're charging above the sticker in two separate addendums. Whether or not someone is willing to pay that for immediate gratification and to have a First Edition Emira that they didn't have to wait 3 years for like...
Yeah, and for the frustration they've faced financially with all the delays, and the bombardment of inquiries, I don't wanna ask about stuff they can't control. Thanks for the reply.
Is there any insight or inside news on the FE 1.0 cars destined for CARB states? NJ early order here with vin 0473 and wondering how to know if it's stateside yet or still yet to set sail. What is best way to track this? I sure wish Lotus had order trackers like so many other manufacturers...
