Ah, sorry, missed that it was an Auto. I presume builds for V6 Autos would not start until CARB for V6 Autos is approved. My guess is deliveries starting in the summer, best case.
My VIN showed it arrived in Baltimore on 6 March - and i am in (and my dealer) is in a CARB state. I have not picked up car yet - and not given a date for pick up.
I am not, I had a car that had PPF issues, swore I would never use again. It was painful and stressful to remove. I plan to put a ceramic coating on myself, not sure which one yet.

It is hard to tell if they do or do not - from the link.
What will happen in 2024? 16th century seer Nostradamus predicts naval war, climatic catastrophe, rise of a new monarch in Britain, and Lotus Emira deliveries in the U.S. as follows:
1 April 2024: FE 1.0 V6 Manual deliveries start
29 April 2024: FE 2.0 V6 Manual deliveries start
3 June 2024: FE...
Pumpkin Pride. Since no one in the US has taken delivery, and they are only "US spec" I do not see any one changing them out yet. I also do not see them being as easy to change out as on a 996 or 997. Best case you will be able to open up the headlight assembly to modify.
Totally agree, very small impact if added on aftermarket. I am sensitive to requirements creep in my professional life. I was looking at it as an original requirement, where the requirement drives a different control system then snowballs into many different systems suppliers.
If the Emira was going to be replaced in 2027 with the all electric type 135, I think Lotus would be taking deposits now in 2024. At least that is the model they used with the Emira (started taking deposits in 2021). On another note, my daily CARB website check resulted in the typical scroll of...
I just looked n the owners manual and do not see anything about yellow dots. My guess is they are the auto dimming sensors. Not sure if they relate directly to the three dimming settings: “light”, “normal” and “dark”.
I kept a tender on all of my Porsches, if you leave them for a week or more you will have issues. Worst thing you can do is leave a Porsche unlocked - battery will drain quick. I had a 1991 Miata as a daily driver - original battery lasted 8 years. The Miata did not have anything electronic...
I am in the same "boat" :) as you, a V6 manual I presume? MD (assuming Rockville?) is a CARB state, so not surprised he has no cars orVINs yet. A couple weeks ago he it was still looking like April 24 delivery for a FE 2.0 V6 manual with my final configuration submitted in 16 Aug 2023. In...
From My Dealer "Just need to pass the Carb Certification as the letter mentions. We are a Carb dealer, so we will not receive the vehicles until completed. Other dealers that are in EPA states, they will receive their vehicles, but they cannot sell it until completed. "
Also, mentioned my V6...
My Dealer (Maryland) informed me of the same (FE 2.0 V6 Manual delivery in April 2024) back in Aug 2023, but that was based on a Dec 2023 build, not sure if that is still the case.
If CARB is obtained in January and deliveries start , I would expect delivering 500 cars would take 2-3 months...
