I can vouch for the Vantage, 300 miles in and very happy with it. Received my ‘lock in’ email the same day my deposit was returned this week, even though I’d been told I was locked in for the past year. Crazy. I can recommend Leeds Aston, 2 year warranty and service.

I cancelled 4 weeks ago and bought a Vantage on the same day. It does everything I want (and more) as a daily and weekend blast car. No regrets currently but when my 2 year servicing and warranty run out I’ll look at an Emira GT if they exist then.

I’m also out. I’ve put a deposit down on a 2020 Vantage. This forum is awesome and the information from owners and TomE has been priceless. My deposit was during Goodwood (11th July) and I sold my M4 on the reasonable assumption the Emira would arrive last summer. I’ve been put back a few times...

Worth a drive down to Leeds. Porsche had 3 GT4’s. Ferrrari and Aston all close. Found the Vantage engine superb and felt solid. Test drive route goes through a tunnel! Can’t fault the handling.

I spent Friday driving a 2019 Vantage. Very impressed. As soon as I find the right deal I’ll be cancelling. I was told by CC I won’t be able to test drive the emira until next year. 11th July Deposit, May delivery.

It’s a good point that did cross my mind. To even be in a position where we are thinking that is possible shows how badly we have been treated. A lot worse going on in the world granted. Wish I never told anyone I had ordered one , gets embarrassing trying to explain.

I suspect they are making a window to build for another market, or the second shift is not going to happen now. Either way there will be a lot of cancelled uk orders. Mine being one of them.

Spoke CC yesterday and they told me Dec build Jan delivery. In less than 24 hours I’m now April build. July 11 deposit. V6 Manual.

Good work. I was 10k down over 3 years which I would have taken before I bought it. Peugeot Partner daily driver isn’t much fun though..

I emailed CC last week and that was my response. Lots of apologies but it’s a pain for planning. CC are always friendly and responsive. I sold my M4 a year ago expecting to be in an Emira by now. Lied On Telling Us Soon

My November build, December delivery has today been moved to ‘sometime in 2023’. V6 manual. 11th July deposit. I’m now for the first time considering other options.

Year 3000 - Busted

July 11 deposit. CS informed today that I’m now November build, December delivery. They also re-sent email link and told me my spec is not locked in and any changes will not delay my order. They are doing a good job at delaying my order themselves.
