Yep, for the UK while you might get a producer to put the plate on in the best case, full on fine etc are more common due to the amount of ANPR / front facing camera's you are basically avoiding without a front plate.

Ive never seen any car released with that info, is that common is Australia? Seems like having the freedom to choose your own colour and switching on headlights would be enough to mitigate?
Im not too worried on the ride, agree it'll be worse than 18/19" but Lotus seem to have a special ability to make cars ride well where others fail, even on bigger wheels. The Touring suspension should help further.
Weight of wheel is also a factor, the lighter wheels again should help, compared...
UK Site has updated. New layout but the colours seem to have changed, Green is darker than before but actually looks better than the samples. Red is now a really nice colour and maybe an option!? But having chosen Nimbus I think I like it even more...

I kept an S1 followed by an S2 Elise outside for several years of ownership. The S1 I used a cover for its first winter and even spotlessly clean when covered up the wings had light marking all over them. I then used cling film to wrap around the car and didnt have those issues but was a faff...
Absolutely, if there was a light grey / cream roof lining then I'd go for the Alcantara as love the fabric on seats. My biggest 'fear' if you can call it that, is once committed to an FE, the 'perfect' colour/options/specs become available as part of the non FE cars. Could be a long wait but...

If demand outstrips supply & this is the last ever ICE from Lotus (same for many other sports car makers pending), then there will never be a new Emira so to speak. Maybe a mid life refresh or GT/specials so would that keep prices even stronger? You cant buy an Evora S for under £40k last time I...

I understand it is or early 2022, but email I had from Lotus is they'll try to accommodate changes after final lock in depending where the car is in the build cycle/progress (as in they can unlock the configuration in some circumstances) OR you can withhold the final spec and deposit/contract...

Had similar confirmation. I want to test drive before committing to a final build/spec and deposit which Lotus imply isnt an issue but its a bit vague. B&C are hoping to get a demo in March if all goes well.
Great spec and absolutely what I chose initially, only thing holding me back is the Green was so dark on the samples and Ive only seen them under artificial lighting in the showroom. Nimbus (Harry spec) is now joint first choice with green. I REALLY want to love the green through :)
that does make the most sense. No hurry or desire to get the first in the UK and would rather buy the right car for me. So if that means waiting longer for it but removing concerns or worries then it’ll work out. 😊
