Thank you. “Fortunately” there was no need for the puncture as I quickly found the huge nail buried in the O/S rear and there was no way that was going to hold air without a plug. Now I just need to see if it is properly repairable and whether I trust that! Only 4,500 miles so plenty of life...
Anyone have any luck with this? I had a flat tyre yesterday and the electric pump provided needs a 12V cigarette lighter style socket. So if there isn’t one, may be having a word with Lotus! Fortunately Mr AA was able to sort for me.
Worth trying Classicline - my renewal is due shortly with them so I will be testing that myself - but they did require tracker. Also if you need track cover, there is huge variation - Mannings as I understand it had some large claims a couple of years ago, which led to them severely limiting...
Yes Scott Walker said same to me at handover at Hethel. 3,000m. Acknowledged not official advice but he personally recommended. I have another car where for years turns out manufacturer’s recommended oil was actually damaging engines…wrong viscosity. Ho hum.
Me also (and this will jinx it) car running perfectly. A couple of the reported software issues (e.g. wipers) but no other issues and the car is truly brilliant. Only 1,500m in my case though, so everything remains crossed.
In terms of reactions, all positive so far - in fact rarely come back to the Emira parked without encountering someone taking pictures of it. I take my son riding on a Saturday morning and we often stop at Goodwood Circuit on the way back (as it is on route) for coffee and cake! Great to see...
