Speaking with the tech at Gator, he suggested i not try clearing the codes; so I'll just see what they find next week. Did you notice any change in how the car drove?
I picked up that same code this past week. Fortunately, i've got my 1000 mile oil change scheduled for the coming week so i can get it figured out along with other minor issues that need sorting.
Assuming policy doesn't change early next week, the importer will have to pay the tariff/tax prior to release from customs. Lotus UK won't see that bill as it is the importer on record that gets that hit. The amount would be based on the "cost" of the car at importation prior to any markup...
it's going to be tough for the next 6 weeks or so until the temps start to cooperate. 10 degrees for the next several days. But at least I can sit and pretend like a kid for a while. Thank you.
PERFECTO! That's what I'd hoped you would respond with. Paperwork should be sorted today and I'll either drive it home (weather permitting) or get it delivered by trailer(most likely) late next week after prep is complete. It will have to be a garage queen for a few months no matter what but...
Much respect! I don't trust the drivers around me in winter weather in my neck of the woods. I'm most likely going to get mine trailered(enclosed) home. Hoping for late next week.
Just got notified of this review on the I4.

Great point. All variants are truly special cars and each of us chose what we did for any number of valid reasons. They are all special no matter the transmission.
@Nova the true star of this entire forum for giving each and everyone of us some peace of mind when our cars hit the shore. Thank you for all of your efforts.
I would have been happy with performance as originally stated. This just removes the "its only a DCT" sting we get from reviewers who claim it is the manual or nothing. I just love this car.
