While I have not purchased Aerie wheels, I did buy a lot of Aerie CF pieces. It took some time for everything to arrive, but Jason delivered. He responds much better via WhatsApp, I would give that a try.
Excellent work Sir!!!
I’ll share this video with my shop to help with the installation. The tips you have outlined will certainly reduce frustration and save time.
I found it odd as well, but It’s me vs. the dealer.
I have probably close to $5K invested my cool parts and labor to install and un-install the parts.
The Milltek, GRP parts are sitting in my basement 😡
I did not do the headers, but otherwise had your setup.
My car threw a CEL about a week after getting everything installed.
I took the car to my Lotus dealer and they scanned the car for codes. They claim the codes go to Lotus automatically???
My dealer/Lotus said the modification ruined the...
I’m not tempting fate with any mods based on my exhaust fiasco. With my luck, I’d get a CEL with an aftermarket intake system and the whole cycle would start over again with my dealer.
Good luck to you brave and lucky souls that don’t have issues with your mods.
Based on my experience, I would agree with this assessment.
I‘m waiting to get my car back after all the OEM exhaust bits were reinstalled and new Cats/O2 sensors fitted.
If I ever put the 3rd Cat delete, Milltek exhaust/controller back on the car, probably won’t install the non-OEM mid pipe...
Happy to help out, but my concern is that I’m really not sure when the installation of the Eventuri system will take place.
Greg @GRP might be able to get the dyno done easier and faster than me as he will be installing the Eventuri on the shop’s project car.
I would certainly think so, but in talking to Greg today he is confident in the track record of Eventuri and their development success.
I orderd the kit, but will wait until GRP installs one on their project car for the mere purpose of a good installation write up.
I had the Milltek 3rd cat delete, Milltek exhaust, and Milltek controller installed last Thursday.
Also had a GRP mid pipe installed (non insulated version).
I plan on running valve open 100% of the time.
A truly transformative upgrade.
Zero code issues.
2450/2750 Euros for the side/rear vents is insane.
Aerie is close to releasing the side and rear vents at a much more reasonable price point (I hope).
I have the front vents, but want to do all of the vents at the same time.
Some photos of the Aerie Carbon Fiber pieces installed on my Emira.
Very high quality carbon and an easy installation. Everything matched up to OEM fitment and existing hardware.
Some of the UK Emira customers have been running the Milltek exhaust for quite awhile and I’m not aware of any widespread issues with the valve not functioning properly.
I’ve contacted Milltek in the U.S. asking specifically about this issue and I feel they would be honest if a problem did...
I have the the rear diffuser, front splitter, and side skirts installed.
Fitment was seamless.
IMO, very high quality Carbon Fiber.
Unfortunately, I’m on vacation right now. I’ll get photos uploaded when I get home over the weekend
It’s interesting - Porsche takes a different approach (at least in my experience).
They know many of their customers want to do mods for the track or a more aggressive street set up.
I have a ‘23 GT4 with Fabspeed exhaust and a M-Engineering tune.
Not a mention of voiding the warranty from...
That is certainly unfortunate 😔
Milltek has established a few U.S. Lotus dealerships as authorized distributors/installers.
Lotus Detroit, Lotus of DC, and Lotus Jacksonville so far.
Maybe this info will help your cause🙏
That’s the way I understand it as well after communication with Milltek in the U.S.
I’m waiting on the GRP Midpipe and then I will have the Milltek 3rd cat delete, Milltek exhaust, and valve controller (using OEM valve) installed.
Doesn’t hurt to ask😉
I know when McLaren did updates for the Artura, it was known what issues the update addressed.
Not that Lotus is McLaren.
My Evora 400 has been serviced at the same dealer where my Emira is currently impounded and I’m pretty sure the service manager will share what info...
I have really good relationship with my local Lotus dealer and I can ask them what was included in the latest update.
I’ll stop by the dealership tomorrow.
I hope they will be forthright in sharing the information.
St Louis Auto Detail does great work on paint correction, ceramic, ppf, etc.
The shop is 5 minutes from Holman.
If you go in the shop, you’ll see exotics from most manufacturers being worked on by really high quality people.
Ask for Steve or Matt (the owner).
My Emira is going there for the...
