Hopefully you get some hassle free time with it now! Mine is going for new doors (paint bubbling) in a few weeks, other than that it’s only been back for a few smaller problems….. so far…..
I was browsing the Emiras for sale in the UK on Autotrader and realised I’ve covered more miles in mine than most for sale now. Mine is a 2023 (73) and, despite not being a daily, I’ve just ticked over to 10k miles since picking it up, having road tripped it a few times around the UK and...
Mine is now 15 months old, has done 9k miles and has had its first service at Lotus Silvertone… and it’s still makes the exact same sound you’re describing - it’s done it since the day I got it from Hethel. I keep being told it’s normal and nothing to be concerned about but agree with you it...
I have the Miltek valve controller on my Emira and it works well - cheap to buy, relatively quick to install too. I mostly now just leave the valves open all the time (cold starts are much better now!), but it's good to have the choice without having to change driving modes...
The first time I saw the colour in person was at the factory on my own car! My wife talked me out of Verdan Green when I ordered and got to say I’m happy she did. I’m biased but I love the colour!
I chose shadow grey and I love it! There’s a blue sparkle to it in the sun, which is when it looks best, so the Socal sunshine will suit in perfectly. Plus not many people choose it so it’s rare. As someone else says, lots of photos on the thread but happy to share some photos of mine in the sun...
This sounds amazing!! Can you tell me who you used to ship your cars (and what price if you don't mind!)? I want to take my Emira to the Alps next summer, so getting to Milan without driving would be perfect. (Just can't face the long boring French motorway journey).
To the original post, I...
Both my headlights do this this from time to time also, but doesn't seem to cause any long term trouble. I've been told by other owners that this is another "they all do that" problem. Sorry, not a very satisfying answer, but hopefully no need to panic.
Thanks for the detective work everyone, I’ve not found anything either - suspect it may have been nonsense.
Either way, since the replacement, I’ve now discovered my automatic wipers don’t work. Thanks Autoglass 🤦♂️
Ergh you had it worse than me! I thought three was bad.
Yes same problem with the spec of the screen (how did it take so long for them to realise?!) and yes also the same with fitting, the guy commented that it was a fiddly job with the DAB connector. All done and working ok now thankfully.
After a truck dumped a whole load of gravel on the road in front of me, I collected 4 windscreen chips in one go and some are so close together they are not repairable, so now my Emira windscreen is being replaced. The team at Autoglass ordered the screen 3 times incorrectly (over the period of...
I had this same issue. Front left saying it was low pressure despite it being the same as front right. About 100miles later, all 4 were then saying they were low, despite reading 2.0 front and 2.2 back. No obvious way to manually reset, so I just gave each tyre the smallest pump of air (machine...
Spent some time in Dartmoor with the Emira last week. The grey skies matched the car sadly, but it was great to enjoy some good roads to myself with the car. Plenty more road trips to come.
I had a BMW M2 Competition before my Emira and I can tell you the reaction the Emira gets is very different to that!
People genuinely do let me out at junctions, make space on the motorway etc, stop to comment and have a chat, it's a really nice reaction. The other day, I also had a guy in a...
A few photos of my Shadow Grey Emira from Hethel collection day a few weeks ago. The colour was a gamble as I'd not seen one in this colour before ordering, but I'm so happy with the choice. In fact, on the factory tour, I only saw a handful of Shadow Grey models in production and I love that it...
Welcome! I picked up my Emira a couple of weeks ago (I wasn't brave enough for yellow!). I''m based a few miles further up the A41 from Watford - I'll keep an eye out for your car! Mine is currently getting PPF too and I badly want it back!! :giggle: Hope you're enjoying your new toy!
Thanks for that, it's reassuring to hear. I've covered 400 miles now and it is already fading a little (and I'm learning how to avoid it). I'd planned to change the transmission oil also, so hopefully that sees it off altogether.
