No it’s stuck open if it was stuck closed I’m sure I would have gotten that error.
I saw the little spring and motor it’s attached. When I used the remote and look at it. I can hear it move and see it trying to move. It move very little but like it’s suppose to.
So that’s my question if my...
Yeah true! lol
Is that what you think is the problem with the valve? I can hear the motor moving but it’s not moving the valve inside at all. I thought maybe it was something I can open up and fix.
anyone know how to fix a value controller that isn’t working?
I have the Milltek controller and noticed it sounded the same in all models. I could hear the motor moving something but I couldn’t tell the difference.
So I bought a endoscope and sure enough it’s open and doesn’t close with any...
Couldn’t agree more. I have LC with my JUBU 440 with my V6 manual but I’ve used it only 4 times on that cold day above I stated above. Don’t want to keep doing it, but it’s fun for sure bc it’s actually LC holds rpms and all but it’s the clutch I’m worried about. I had at least half a second of...
Same. My 4.39 was with a draggy, on a cold day as stated above. I’m not stock thou with the 440 JUBU so will be interesting to see everyone’s best numbers. I will be going with the 460 JUBU probably late spring early summer so will do times on the 440 first then the 460.
I hit 4.39 but it was around 50 degrees and the road cold and not ideal. I was spinning for at least half a second or so it seemed. Once it warms up I’ll redo it and I think I should be able to hit 60 under 4 or right at it with how I’m set up. I’ll post results when I do which will be a bit.
That’s another reason that drove me to aftermarket tuning. It happened to me on the test drive and I wasn’t at redline I saw it. So I thought it’s a demo car bla bla bla. Got mine and when I finally let it rip happen to me and it is dangerous especially if your going fast on a long bend it...
You can do all the weight saving out there but at the end of the day if you want the Emira to deliver what you think it should being as exotic looking car, you will need to add more power IMO! I think the sweet spot is JUBU 460 Kit with all weight saving you can do. If you have the money I think...
Yeah it’s an option you can choose not to have it on the tune.
Same here I mainly only drive in track mode on the street as well. I have the rev matching right now and I do like it but I might remove it when I go to the 460 will see.
Still need 2 more people for next group buy. If interested DM name, phone number and email.
The 440 tune with the other mods like the float console, GRP SS and Milltek with 3rd cat delete has really made me really love the EMIRA so much more! Feels so much more exotic. Next up probably lighter...
Yes exactly same. Maybe @Aerie V8 version wheel can be this? Replica stock Emira silver wheel with more aggressive offset and as light as possible! :) I think the average I’ve seen is 21-24 lbs of weight saving for all 4 wheels.
I might be one of the few but I actually like the stock silver wheels I have but wonder if someone can make a replica that is lighter to save 20-25 lbs. that unsprung weight would be really nice.
Finally got my new battery in from warranty. Anyone install battery tender on the Antigravity and use the screws provided? I installed the lotus one.
My question is do you use the washer and if so where? does it go between the tender and the bolt?
Yeah I agree it’s too much for that small little piece. Plus I think comparing the picture to @kitkat one, I still think it’s better bc the highlight is the shifter IMO.
But posted it incase anyone was looking for another option.
It’s made of billet CNC 6061-T6 aerospace grade anodized aluminum. It’s just a different look with a heavier material than the plastic. It’s pricy for that little guy.
This company nytopusa is coming out with Billet one. Looks nice but I think it takes away from the shifter. Idk yet if I will do this down the route.

Yeah would hate to go 3 hours to the dealership and have the car in the shop for it just to be a bad design. The power washing pressure could be the issue. I will use a hose like if it’s raining and test it.
Has anyone used a power washer and the windows don’t leak?
It’s not hard but it’s a pain in the ass. I think more so bc you don’t want to break something and wait months for parts from Lotus. That’s what was going on in my head.
But it is worth it! Parked it’s amazing to admire the pure open experience. Then driving it and looking down just makes it...
I have had leaks on pressure washer on both sides. Never tried a hose only. I used the grease mentioned above but still getting the leak. If anyone finds a fix using a power washer that would be nice!
Very disappointing. The answer was no. They are covering shipping cost to me for the new one. So just be aware that warranty shipping is on your them. That’s a bad look.
Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is having a great new year!
We got the 15% extended for group 2! We just need 2 more people. Please DM name, phone number and email.
Good thread to read, would have been nice to find it before my install lol. I too installed the GRP SS at its shortest setting.
I did mine in 1st gear I believe since it was easier to reach. Idk if the cable length pulling matters much, when I did the install I pulled it out and in as I was...
When was the last update? I picked up my car in April 2024.
Just weird it didn’t do it until recently. Only thing I did recently was change battery to Anti and then back to OEM since the anti was sent back for warranty.
Yeah this happened to me the first time today. Called my lotus dealership they said might need a new update.
Searched on this forum and got the right answers. It’s a really dumb design to be honest but looks like we can’t do anything about it other than what’s been stated...
What scanner are you using? I don’t have any lights on but was told to check and clear dtcs in all modules after a battery change.
I had all doors closed expect trunk open, car was unlocked and key was in the house. I let it sit like that for an hour before I changed the battery so I think the...
Oh ok you check with the scanner and nothing showed?
Yeah I had the car unlocked all doors closed and trunk open key was in the house. I let it sit like that for an hour before I changed it. So I think I should be good too but trying to ensure I do everything right.
Ok idk how many modules are in the Emira storing dtcs. Recently changed battery and I heard you have to clear dtcs after idk if that’s true. But dealer is 3 hours away so would like to know if any dtcs popped up that I have to clear, my concern is it won’t see everything.
Has anyone plugged in a scanner to read dtcs and cleared after the battery change?
I heard if you disconnect the battery while the modules are awake they have a lot of dtcs codes stored.
I’m trying to find a scanner that works so I can check for myself bc my dealer is 3 hours away.
