The Emira was never going to be on the level of a Porsche. It is a flawed car with good looks. I was really excited for this car, but it is quickly dying. I don't even think I will bother with another sports car.

I drove and flipped my M3 Xcomp earlier this year. You don't make much money after TTL, tint, ceramic, insurance, etc. I think I cleared around 4K, but it was a fun few months. I plan to drive my Emira for about a year till I move to Lake Tahoe where I will have no use for a sports car.

I already knew the engine and gearbox would be the weak link. It was always going to be a flawed car. It is an Evora with a gorgeous body and interior. I am buying it for fun in the streets which it will be fine. If I was doing lots of track time I would go the Porsche route.

I am going to wait till I test drive it to make up my mind. I actually don't plan on owning the car long as I am moving to the mountains where I will have no use for a sports car. I just want a fun car for six months and then flip it.

It is basically a rebodied Evora with a few extra lbs.

I find pretty much every wide body kit to be incredibly ugly. It blows my mind people will spend tons of money on liberty walk kits to make their 300K cars ugly.

I hate to say this, but Lotus is a Chinese company now. They have other plans.

The only reason I even considered the I4 is because it will basically just take a tune to get it over 500hp. With new turbos you can do over 600hp.

I think the Evora is pretty ugly. The interior felt cheap. It is just a weird looking car. I have yet to see an Emira in person. My dealer said it will be 4-6 weeks before they have a showroom car.

How does it sag so fast? I have never had a car with sagging leather like this.

The sagging of the leather is quite concerning. I might go with black if it will hide it better.

I am quite disappointed in the colors too. I only like about four colors. Why are there so many gray colors?

This does not really make any sense. Dealers have their allocations and they are all taken. There has to be a 2-3 year waitless already.

It should get about the same as the Evora as they are almost the same car with the exact same engine plus a little bit of weight. I expect to get in the lower teens with my driving habits.

I am just going to keep driving my Audi Q7. I don't really need a sports car. I don't even commute.

I just sold my M3 for 14K over with 400miles. I see no reason why the Emira will not fetch that to the lower 20s.

Every car manufacturer is having delivery delays because of the shortages. It is what it is. Just be happy that you are getting a FE. I was #12 and it was not enough to get a FE at my dealership.

This is a really old basic engine design. There is no direct injection. If you want modern order the Merc.

If 400hp is not enough, get the i4. With a simple tune you can get 500hp. With new turbos you can get beyond 600hp.
