Thank you for the reply. I’ve tried all of that apart from renewing the tracker. Dealership was coming to collect (next week) but as it now won’t start the AA have to come and get it and winch it onto a trailer

If I’m not allowed to change the gear knob over myself without affecting my warranty, I doubt you will be allowed to change the oil for anything other than the same stuff Lotus use.

The software update isn’t available yet, so I’ve postponed having my car collected and taken to the dealership until I can have all the issues addressed in one visit.

I think some coatings are guaranteed for 5 yrs, ceramic won’t protect against stone chips. It should make it easier to keep it clean. The cost of PPF (whole car/front end and skirts) is prohibitive.
Chap said the paint is really soft and prone to scratches in the clear coat. The stuff he applied is supposed to be self healing (minor scratches) when heat is applied to the paint eg in hot weather
