If I’m not allowed to change the gear knob over myself without affecting my warranty, I doubt you will be allowed to change the oil for anything other than the same stuff Lotus use.

My car is back at the dealer workshop having so minor issues addressed. I was keen to get the software update done whilst it was in. Apparently they have tried to do the update but ‘it keeps failing’ Has anyone successfully had the update done?

Although a quick Google suggests it’s around 2 weeks for most cars

Yes, mine requires quite a slam to close. The push on the boot technique doesn’t feel good 😬

I think some coatings are guaranteed for 5 yrs, ceramic won’t protect against stone chips. It should make it easier to keep it clean. The cost of PPF (whole car/front end and skirts) is prohibitive.

Chap said the paint is really soft and prone to scratches in the clear coat. The stuff he applied is supposed to be self healing (minor scratches) when heat is applied to the paint eg in hot weather
