What was the code? Are you sure it wasnt an EVAP leak code? These have been semi common on the Emira's.
A decat can't possibly cause a CEL. It is past all sensors in the exhaust stream (by quite a bit of tubing) There is no chance a o2 sensor could pick up on a exhaust leak back at the...
They are the same exact thing just without their big large blades installed -- we sell them as they come from JQ Madtrace.
We are U.S. based and answer the phone/email :-)
We have some adjustable upper arms in the works for the Emira.
Not positive of end price yet but we will post details as we make progress.
These will be a much easier to adjust design vs the ones from China that require you to unbolt the hub carrier every time you need to make an adjustment.
We have a stock seat here to dissect since Lotus wont sell the parts on their own.
The problem is that it isnt a simple voltage signal that needs to be reproduced or a resistance trick like most cars. Lotus has the weight sensor converted to a digital signal to be sent to the SRS unit and...
We were trying to get parts from Lotus to make it happen for the passenger side but they finally came back with "we can no longer sell the individual components, you will need to order a complete seat which will include everything"
So we are now trying to get with an electrical engineer to help...
Fwiw and before false info is spread here:
There is no possible way for the suspension to “settle” and decrease the static gap between the bottom spring perch and the CV boot. It’s a fixed mechanical setting. If the perch made contact or “shredded” a CV boot adequate clearance was not set...
The only way it could is if the testing station person knows to look (and knows where to look) for the third cat but thats still not something you can see easily when the car is fully assembled.
The third cat is unmonitored so it cant possibly cause any cel by deleting it.
Feel free to reach out if you have more questions about the seats or custom pads.
We are one of the main importing dealers for the US and specialize in Lotus so we can get you dialed in.
We keep the seats in stock (sometimes they sell out) and stitched pads are made to order.
Shoot us an...
The other guys will throw a code also Im sure, its a very similar design (can only make them so many ways)
Its basic catalyst efficiency code which does not effect the the way the car runs at all, more of an annoyance than anything.
Without tuning a small o2 spacer on the secondary sensor...
Yes, they are getting an I4 at their shop in the UK for testing and will then release the suspension kits and also the FAL along with those.
I am thinking they should have the I4 options in the next month or so.
Brian shared this picture of his interior update that includes a custom rounded wheel, wheel badge and Tillett B10's from us as well as as @kitkat shift boot delete.
Thought I'd share here for those not on social media!
Excited to offer the full line of BanC Tech items!
Some of you have already pre-ordered the new boot liner, thank you!
We will have stock of the key fob covers coming soon and available on the site to order asap.
This will be a complete kit that includes the lines, pump etc.
Full details to come as soon as they do their press release with pictures later this month.
Nitron FAL (Front Axle Lift) now available as an add-on option with their R1 coilovers.
Full details and kit pictures coming later this month in a press release but we have been given the ok to start taking orders.
This is a complete kit that raises the front about 1” for those annoying...
The third cat is unmonitored and wont/cant cause a CEL.
The only way the car would fail a check is if an inspector was savvy enough to look for the third cat through the mesh of the rear diffuser which in my experience 99/100 of them are not. They just do the plug in obd check and go on...
We do yes, they are listed on our site!
The display gets power from from inside the wheel and gets info transmitted wirelessly via bluetooth from a dongle that plugs into the obd port. It works pretty well -- its not Ferrari wheel rev display fast but its pretty good.
I test fit and confirmed 100% that 18" wheels will not fit over the parking brake, 19" wheels will have plenty of clearance though.
18's barely rub the outer edge of it.
Here are some recently completed S5 wheels on a car in the bay area.
We sent him a complete package with the wheels, tires, tpms, center cap badges all mounted and ready to bolt up!
Save your money and just replace with stock parts or heads if there was that much damage which it doesnt sound like there was.
If you are trying to eek every bit of hp out of the car for track use then sure, do a long block or built internals but otherwise the factory long block will live at...
When installing I prefer to leave the assembly together as we ship it and spin it onto the cable so there is no risk of dropping the bolt out of the short shifter body etc.
Thread it onto the cable, place it onto the bellcrank and check the shifter positioning -- remove and loosen or tighten...
As mentioned above, I do the same and adjust it visually by looking through the rear window at the shifter and then verify by sitting in the car and giving it a little test before locking everything down.
Having the shifter in the 100% exact position isn't critical but you want it as close...
