I contacted my dealer on this. They said it would be up to Lotus at the time of a warranty claim. No “yes” or “no” definitive answer. So, it could get dicey!
There is no customer reset. Mine cleared itself after adjusting pressures and driving about 100 miles. Dealer had ordered all new sensors and it cleared the day before the scheduled install.
Here’s the latest:
Here’s my story:
The “low tire pressure” light came on. Checked pressures and filled to the correct pressures: 29psi front, 32 psi rear. Multiple starts and drives after that. Tire light always flashes for about a minute on start up, then stays illuminated. Took car to...
Well, I had the same issue. Here’s my story:
The “low tire pressure” light came on. Checked pressures and filled to the correct pressures: 29psi front, 32 psi rear. Multiple starts and drives after that. Tire light always flashes for about a minute on start up, then stays illuminated. Took...
The “calibration routine” mentioned in the owner’s manual is: fill the tires with the recommended pressures, and drive. Hopefully the light will go out. Mine doesn’t!
I have the same thing happening to me. There Is NO “routine” for re-setting or re-calibrating”. You are supposed to adjust the air pressure in the tires to the recommended settings, and drive………which I’ve been doing for miles on end. The light stays on! When I start the car, it DOES” blink...
My tire pressure icon (tire with exclamation point in middle) is illuminated on my dash. My tire pressure might have been a little low. I aired up the tires to slightly above the recommended pressures. Been driving the car. The icon stays on. Am I missing something?
I think you are probably correct! The probability of the usb port being intermittent (even in a Lotus) is pretty low.
The in-line step-up power converter is probably at fault. I found another supplier that says his works with Valentine 1’s…..we’ll see! Fingers crossed!
