The question to ask yourself is why have Lotus not published the lap time. It would strengthen their place in the market place. It seems strange that some people are trying to justify the reason for the purchase of the Emira based on a lap time.

You have still not answered my question. That is all guess work on the Emira where is the Empirical data. As a Engineer i do not work on guess work.

I disagree with everything you say. All lotus cars are track focused. You are saying that an Emira which weighs circa 1400kg is faster around a track than any of the V6 Exige circa weight 1150kg. Same colour combination. Also had a black with black interior. Last one was a VXR with 300BHP which was seriously quick should have kept.

Currently own a Lotus Exige V6S. Previously owned two S2 Exiges and a couple of VX220 Turbos - which i would classify as Lotus. Some may disagree.

With factory pick up did they mention PPF. Would want this installed prior to pick up.

Agree looks better on the lighter colours. Have gone with the black pack with Hethel yellow.

Just had a call. Delivery confirmed for July. Deposit place 8th July last year. Not planning any changes sticking with my original choice of Hethel yellow and black pack. Now the wait begins.
