Actually, other way around. The Emira was already ordered when I bought the Honda. But I did buy it with the intention of matching them.
Wanted to have "matching" elise/gt4 and emira/cr.
I haven't seen any third party source weigh the Emira yet, and I know there was a lot of ambiguity about the true weight of the car, so found this interesting (go to 19:44 to see it on the scales):
On an empty tank, looks like the V6 manual Emira weighs just a hair over 3200 lbs.
seneca blue. Haven't seen it in person. Based on pics I like it, but don't LOVE it. I'm really loving the Osmium, though.
But, hard to walk away from the original FE1 pricing.
Looks incredible. Very tempted to abandon my FE1 pricing and 4-6 week finish line in order to get one in Osmium and black pack. But, probably won't....
Reminds me of azzuro thetys metallic, which is a pretty special color.
FE1 was never going to be special, regardless of FE2. What is special is knowing you get the same car for $10k less. I'll take that all day. That's basically 1-2 years of depreciation free driving.
Surprisingly, there have been very few pics or vids of the blue car with silver wheels and yellow calipers, and black pack (my spec). Anyway, finally found a decent one, so here you go:
Looks nice, but a couple of things I noticed right away:
-The orange peel is abysmal
-The passenger seat had some pretty major wrinkles in the leather by the shoulder area
-The driver seat had some loose leather right where your ass sits
The leather parts aren't a deal breaker, but the orange...
The issue is not with Lotus offering these things. The issue is that the people are considering heated seats equally as important as forged wheels (about 50% for each). Hello, but you're still buying a Lotus and you should ABSOLUTELY require forged wheels since it makes the car lighter, and if...
Just goes to show who the target market is for the Emira. 50% said heated seats are required and 73% the Convenience Pack is required.
Yeah, "for the drivers"...
More pics of a seneca with silver wheels.

No thanks on anything EV.
Just got a last minute allocation on a GT4. Finalized my spec/build today and will be accepting delivery on Jan. 6th. Very excited! The garage is starting to round out nicely:
S2000
'11 Elise SC
718 GT4
Emira
DV does look amazing in those stills, but I think it's because they've been enhanced in Photoshop. If you compare the stills to the live video, the car doesn't look nearly as amazing in the video.
Thanks for the link, I haven't seen that one, but it looks like a great spec!
I'm actually in contact with the dealer about this one: https://www.lamborghinipalmbeach.com/vehicle-details/used-2021-lotus-evora-gt--west-palm-beach-fl-id-44375888
The JPS livery looks great imo! I'm really torn...
I'm seriously considering pulling my deposit and getting an Evora GT instead. I haven't driven an Evora, so those who have driven both the Emira and Evora, can you provide any insight as to how they compare?
I think for a pure driver's car (which is what I want) the choice is obviously the...
Yeah, it was actually a dealer that only sells pre-owned exotics/sports cars; so, not a Porsche dealer. But they were very easy to work with and actually allowed me to drive both the GTS and GT4 by myself, which I was surprised about.
I feel very fortunate I was able to drive all 3 cars in...
I highly recommend it! To me the GTS is the only true competitor to the Emira, so I think you owe it to yourself to at least drive both before making a final decision.
Exactly. Which is why all of these reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. Just evaluate the car for yourself when you drive it.
If anything, I just find the reviews fun to read since we don't have any other Emira content. It's almost like reading fan fiction.
Some say it's fast, some say it's slow. Some say the shifter sucks, some say it's great. Some say the clutch is light, some say it's heavy. Some like the steering wheel, some don't. And on and on...
At least everyone agrees that the steering feel is amazing and that the car looks great. Just...
I was very close to purchasing an Evora GT in 2021 (meaning, I hadn't driven it yet, but I had determined it was the car I wanted). Then, the Emira was released and I immediately switched to the Emira.
My thought is, as long as the performance of the Emira is the same as the Evora, then it's...
That's my dealer and they've confirmed with me many times that I won't be paying over MSRP. Also, highly doubt that they have inside intel on the new base model price. They've been pretty clueless about updates this entire time.
I actually called them the other day and the main sales lady who...
Been waiting forever to see a Seneca Blue with black pack and silver wheels (my spec), and we finally got a few pics:

This makes me more excited than ever. March can't come soon enough...
