I'd say in no particular order:
- crappy Lotus customer experience taking shine off of the car (add in excessive wait times here.
- change of circumstances. Cost of living/investments etc etc was at a high (good high) when Emira was launched.
- reported faults on early cars and a mixed...
Added to the negatives for me being out for sure.
Terrible decision.
Central Lotus picked up some of the pieces for them, but shocking behaviour by Lotus
I think it depends what you want to do. Stick to the A roads and you are fine in pretty much whatever (seen Diablos, R8s, 488s etc)
However if you want to deviate, which I recommend ie Applecross Pass and Peninsula etc, them smaller car is definitely easier
I TOTALLY understand that.
Can still facilitate a feedback area on forum and someone can pick up your mantle and push the agenda with Lotus, or not. I'd happily have done it if I had gone ahead with my purchase. Takes someone else that isn't too brow beaten and cares enough I guess.

Really? So now you are implying that the level of Service Lotus have given has NOT affected your choice to defer your order (possibly indefinitely)

Nope. That's the problem with shit customer service, it's actually really hard to measure unless you put yourself in the consumers shoes and benchmark your level of service against the competition. They definitely aren't doing this.
Plus they don't want direct feedback. Communication isnt scored...
