Hi All,

£83k now offered as private sale before it goes to a dealer on consignment and somebody has to pay an unnecessary premium.

You may have seen my advert on Auto trader already, have had so many time wasters from there and following the most recent sale falling through at £85k, i’ve dropped the price looking for a serious buyer. OTR cost if you spec it now would cost £86,515.

I’m biased but in my opinion this spec is the best, particularly now I have the black pack fitted whilst retaining the yellow painted roof and mirrors it looks amazing in person.

300miles currently
Hethel Yellow
Touring (best option imo) the drive is superb!
+£500 black pack exhaust and rear badge
+£500 Scorpion tracker
Yellow stitch alcantara
Black alloys

No outstanding finance

Car is driven following the running in procedure and has zero issues, it’s perfect. Bell & Colvill have had it this week to fit the black pack and i’m pleased to say have confirmed mine is a good example. Having put 300 miles on it in the dry you can buy it in comfort that it’s a good one.

Sale due to a wedding and house purchase. Wish I could keep it longer and wish it was delivered last year… I will be forever jealous of whoever buys it from me!

Be warned Lotus head office are crap but the Lotus dealerships are pure class - Particularly Bell & Colvill.

Serious buyers only, please private message me. A £250 deposit will be required.

I’m based in Surrey

On the contrary,
I've found that Lotus HQ were very helpful ,and my now previous Lotus dealer were awful to deal with.

Why on earth are you flipping for only a 2grand (ish) profit?
If you knew you had wedding and house purchase on the cards, why go through with it?

On the contrary why on earth wait two years for the car and turn it down knowing you can keep it for 6months and still sell for more than you bought it?? My price is the only sensible price around :) if you have watched the market like I have you’ll realise they aren’t selling for the money everyone is asking for them. Hence only 1 gone from auto trader in a month. Good luck listing at the dealer prices as a private seller OR on consignment and getting more than £2k back. Sorry for putting a reasonable price 😂

Nice car OP, I had a yellow i4 on order (due in July) and then cancelled in a fit of temper when the price went up
You should sell quickly at that price, good luck (y)

Thank you very much, I don’t blame you and I think we all nearly cancelled a few times for various reason! The only people left with the cars at the end were those who managed to resist 😂

Buying is always easy...and selling always a pain! So much bla bla bla .... hard to find someone with cash just seeing the opportunity and buy it without much fuss. Story of my life at least....

I feel you, it has been quite a fun experience all in all, I've had many car enthusiasts ring up just to talk about the car and ask if they should take their own order, which I was more than happy to talk about as that's what these cars are all about! Likewise, I've had some really funny exchanges... and a few negative ones. A while into the advert now though and having had a few sales fall through I'm ready for a serious buyer. Hence the reasonable price.

Honestly your price was already reasonable. You will always get time wasters when dealing with cars in general and the higher the cost, the smaller the target audience. It may take a little while to sell!

Thanks Jason, absolutely, i’ve kept quite a relaxed selling position to be fair. I have had offers but they weren’t enough when I wanted to have a go first myself.
