I am guessing some will like it and others will hate it. The badge is diminutive, but does add a pop of color. The placement of the badge, was somewhat determined by the contour lines on the fender. I’ll live with this for a couple weeks and then determine to remove or replace. Has anyone found a better solution for a lotus owner that like this look?

Not for me. On one of my first drives in my city, I had a Ferrari owner with a similar red-color vehicle, race up alongside my car to "check it out", likely thinking from a distance that it was a Ferrari, only to (no doubt) scoff at my "Lotus Ferrari wanna-be" and zoom off, breaking many more traffic laws. The logo further reinforces the "Ferrari look", IMO. But that's just me.

I get it…although fender badges are not unique to Ferrari. The earliest known use of fender badges on Lotus cars can be traced back to the 1950s and 1960s, when they began adding small emblems to models such as the Lotus Elite and Lotus Elan. I had a 1964 Lotus Europa in High school, and it had fender badges too.

You raise an interesting point however.

I agree with Netsinah. The last thing I want to do is make my car look like a Ferrari, or that I aspire to own a Ferrari.
Interesting input. In my opinion, the Lotus Emira takes (numerous)design cues from Ferrari, and others such as McLaren. It’s interesting to me that a a lotus fender badge would be the definitive feature that would make someone think the car looks like a Ferrari. Fender badges have been incorporated into Lotus design in some ways for over 65 years. If I wanted a Ferrari, personally…I would have just bought one.

To have a fender badge, say a Union Jack is one thing, but a yellow fender badge, I think, is uniquely Ferrari.

I'm sure Ferraris are great cars, but to me, looking Ferrariesque has many negative connotations that screams out:
(a) I'm stinking rich, and
(b) I had to suck up to the dealership, and pass the interview to convince them that I'm "worthy" of owning such a "prestigious" brand.🤮

Interesting feedback. Keep in mind this is indeed a Lotus (Fender) badge! I’m an older guy, and my 1964 Lotus had fender badges too. although I get the Ferrari comparison, the Lotus Emira has dozens of “Ferrariesque” designs element's, and in my opinion the lotus badge being an element that’s no more significant.

I had a small union jack badge on my Evora. looked pretty stock and complemented the car well. have not seen anything to replace it yet on my Emira

maybe something like this. Small and somewhat unassuming. They have other version, but the blacked-out portions would match the lack of chrome on the Emira.

I lke badges.......hard to control myself so it doesn't degenerate......
I am nearly 82 of age; my new '21 GT 410 Sport purchased that time.....
Due to all kind of stupid taxes the MSRP is € 180k = $ 187.500,- .
Only a dozen Evora's GT 410 / 430 are on the road in the Netherlands.......it can take 3-5 years before you see another one somewhere on the road.

I like it, go with your taste not someone else's, that is why we buy Loti/lotus'!

Thanks for the feedback! People say I’m trying to look like I have a Ferrari! If were honest many people confuse this car for a Ferrari…at least the fender badge tells them it’s a Lotus!

I agree! I had a 1964 Lotus in High School, it had fender badges too. People on the forum seem to think I’m trying to make it look like a Ferrari. Let’s be transparent…this car looks like a Ferrari anyway. At least the lotus fender badges tell people what it is.
