Battery and codes

I am going to get my Emira PPF et al . It will take 2 weeks according to my detail guy. He will need to unplug the handles and side mirrors to get the best PFF coverage. He will have to disconnect the battery to avoid any code issues once he reconnects versus if it remains on tender. Has anyone done this without issues. Appreciate advise and feedback. I also reached out to my local dealer about 2.5 hrs away.
