I think most people who either reached the redline without shifting, or just got off the pedal above 6000rpm after accelerating hard, feel how the car loses acceleration in an instant.
It actually feels more than acceleration loss: feels like there's a blip of a break applied.

Is it not considered a problem and just a lotus's quirk? Can it be softened?
I heard that Evora behaves similarly.

I’ve hit the rev-limiter on track a few times and it was startling compared to the Porsches that I have had and tracked in the past.
