When out in the sun (a thing which is very rare in the UK!) my headlights steam up. Happens with both of them but had it where the one in the sun has steamed up and the other which is not in direct sunlight hasn't.

Happened to anyone else?

Thanks for that. I did have a quick look but didn't go that far back.

I knew I wouldn't be alone but didn't expect it to be every Emira which does it!

Mine's never done that, even after a "power wash", so I'm not convinced it happens all the time. Anyway, it looks to be a "non-issue" if the condensation disappears once the headlamps are in use.

Actually, my condensation disappears slowly when no longer in the sun.

Some Aston Martins suffer from this too and eventually the moisture will destroy the electronics inside the headlight unit. Expensive to repair and more expensive to replace.

It's even mentioned in the manual to expect it, and it's normal.
The manual does also mention front and rear lights -but I've heard Lotus will swap out the rear lights if they do it.
