This is due to a secondary battery being low. It’s a known issue but my dealer won’t replace it without a diagnostics and then getting permission to have one shipped from Lotus.
Basically, you need to tender the car while it is in accessory on mode. So hook up the tender, then get in the car and press the ignition start button without touching the brake pedal.
Make sure you have stuff off like radar detector, headlights and ac.
note. If you press the door lock on your key fob that will also turn off the accessory mode
Anyway this will work but if you’re like me then after driving for a few days, it will drain that battery and it will come back on. It’s just a Lotus irritant that they need to correct but likely won’t.
Note. The accessory mode will stay on and indefinitely and my dealership said that it’s totally fine.
I glance at the cup holder lights to tell me it’s still on.
Anyway there’s the fix. Glad it’s not just me.
