The only available Emira Handbook from the Lotus Cars website is specifically for the V6 Superharged.

The i4 Turbocharged car has been available to order for more than 2 years, and deliveries of this model has started.

One would assume that a Handbook specifically for the i4 Turbocharged car must exist?

Do anyone on this forum have knowledge on when a PDF downloadable version will become available? Or perhaps; if you know where to look, maybe it already is available?

I think many i4 Turbocharded owners in waiting would be interested in getting hold of this handbook to study about the usage of their cars before the actual car arrives.

(I am asking for the original English language version)

There may have been a very small number of I4s delivered to customers in China, but beyond that I don't think there have been any I4s delivered anywhere else as yet?

The typical order of events are media reviews (which happened earlier this week) followed by customer deliveries (likely starting in September). So my assumption is that the handbook will be released in September to align with initial I4 deliveries to english speaking countries.

As @digilotus said above - and I would anticipate an updated version at the link below once UK i4's start getting delivered within the coming weeks (that happened when the V6 automatic cars were delivered) ..... The current version is 2.1 dated August 2022.

Thanks digilotus. You are most probably right. I was just asking in case it actually already exist and somebody here know the whereabouts. I am still excited about my upcoming i4 FE that I am told will be built at Hethel in November 23, but only handed over to me at my Lotus importer/retailer (LCI) in Harajuku, Tokyo during February or March 24.

Despite of the recent “mixed reviews” of the i4 (I really loved the Harry & Charlie review, which I think is very accurate and fair, and I also enjoy Matt Farah’s reviews, while I understand he and Zack are 100% in the V6 Supercharged camp. Some of the other reviews were far less meaningful to me.) I think the overall result is that my choice of i4 FE over two years ago was the right one for me living in Metropolitan Tokyo being in my upper 60s, while I grew up with and drove many manual transmission cars, and I am still capable of driving them. I am simply hoping the AMG 8G-DCT software will be fine-tuned and updated; especially the reported issues with confused and slow downshifts.

I am looking forward to get my hands on a i4 Handbook to learn as much as possible about my car even before I physically take delivery.

Thanks once more, digilotus. I really appreciate your work, and I feel that the way you support our community is really fair and helpful.

New handbook version now on the Lotus Cars UK website - dated May 2023 - as well as updated V6 manual and auto stuff it includes the i4 variant, ADAS functionality (although LCCS are still saying NO ADAS on i4 FE) the hidden hole for the CarPlay cable and also references an Emira mobile app (coming soon.....?)image.gif.51df10bfbdf1512de49af7437408fdd1.gif:)

It confirms i4 unladen weight at 1455kg against V6 manual at 1493kg and V6 Auto at 1500kg so a 38kg saving i4 Vs V6 manual and 45kg saving i4 against V6 auto.

Fuel consumption and emissions figures for the i4 are missing though...
