Just saw Theory 1 in London...

... and it looks MUCH better than on pictures. It is an absolute jaw dropper when you see it. If you are in London, stop by Lotus and check it out.

I went to take a look a few days ago, I loved the front but from the rear I thought looked a bit strange. Kind of like it didn't flow and bolted on from a different car. Batmobile vibes from the front which I liked a lot.

I know they’ll mess this up and not make anything close to this because no car manufacturers actually make their concept cars.

But if they made the inside normal and not build the frame in carbon fiber, to get it at a normal price, I’d put a deposit down today. A three seater is awesome and unique.

I wish they would instead focus on shipping backorders. So silly that they are consuming resources on this vehicle when they haven't shipped orders from two years ago. Just seems like a ridiculous business choice.

For those still waiting for their cars I get the complaint.

That said, every manufacturer is out there working on "the next thing" as the newest thing is just landing. If anyone only put money into experimenting, new design, and new processes once they had fully delivered, given the 7-5 years it takes to get a car put through into production they'd "die" in the between times as the new car sales naturally slump and they have nothing coming behind it.

The people who are doing this aren’t doing the building of anyone’s cars. They can only build how many they can push through the assembly line.

It’s silly to say they can’t work on their next car while building the current car. That’s a great way to not have a future as business, if you can’t do both of those at the same time. I get the frustration for people who don’t have a car yet, we had to wait almost 3 years. But nothing about this is delaying Emira deliveries.
