Newlands Corner Sunday Breakfast Meet (Guildford, Surrey, UK) - Sunday 20th November

Fingers crossed we might have an Emira along for this month's meet. I can't make any promises but it's a "definite maybe"

Time for another Sunday breakfast gathering for some of the finest bacon rolls around. This is our regular third Sunday of the month event, a chance to gather with like-minded enthusiasts and a cross section of Lotus models. Everyone welcome - with or without Lotus car - and we look forward to attendees from EmiraForum, The Lotus Forums, SELOC, Lotus Drivers Club and Club Lotus.

An informal gathering with no particular runs in or out organised, just a chance to chat, look at cars and take in the view. Join from 9.00 when the café opens for bacon rolls. We'll probably be around until 10.00/10.30.

It was great to have two Emiras at our monthly Lotus owners breakfast meet today.

Nimbus Grey brought by Jamie and Antonia is the Bell & Colvill / Lotus Surrey demo car. Hethel Yellow brought by Scott Walker from the factory is a production press car - the same car Ade drove and videoed a few weeks ago.

Both looked and sounded great and got a lot of attention from Lotus owners, Emira deposit holders and public.

Sadly not. I think someone may have persuaded Scott to have a short passenger ride in the HY car. I've already done passengering at Goodwood. The B&C car was heading back to the showroom to do a test drive with someone else.
