Has anyone been pulling codes for simple check engine warnings? If so, are you using Toyota in the manufacturer drop-down on your scanner?

Reading Check Engine codes

Using an Autel Mk808, I selected the generic OBD/CAN selection. This was good to read the CEL codes.
Selecting Toyota or Volvo did not successfully communicate with other systems.
Using a generic BT OBD2 device and TorquePro App, no mfg selection is required - just auto detects fault codes.
