RPM dips and bounces when revving

Hey all, recent new owner loving the car - my first proper manual sports car so wondering if this is just a feature not a bug... I've also come from driving decsel cars so maybe I'm just getting used to the clutch and having to feed gas in more.

Interesting observation of an RPM drop or Bounce when you rev a little while sitting idle. This has also caught me a couple times waiting to follow the car in front, something happens meaning we both have to stop, I drop the clutch and foot off the gas feels like it is going to stall.

Finally, fully in gear first or second for example coming on and off the gas (no clutch involved) can result is jerk or several?

Again maybe it's just the rawness of the car but I'm just wondering if I have some kind of vac or valve issue going on somewhere? What do we think!!

My car has very similar behavior if I lightly tap the throttle like that. I guess it might be a normal ECU behavior. But I don't need to do that in typical driving so I am not concerned.

That doesn't seem normal to me. Mine is sharp and crisp.. the only time I had a shitty throttle response was when I installed a 3rd party ecu but got rid of that very quickly and went back to stock ecu.

Id suggest to get in touch with your dealer. I cant upload the video as its too large but I can tell you that I shouldnt be like that in my opinion. Might be on of those lotus quirks I dont know

Yeah my video was to big aswell I uploaded it to my Google drive and pasted the share link - but don't go out of your way I'll ring up and ask at the dealer
