OK. So we wanna be first huh? :)

1. The earlier we are - the more unknowns there will be. #Uncertainty

2. The sooner we want something that didn’t exist before we wanted it - the more unanswered questions there will be.

3. The company can be worth $2million, $2billion, or $2trillion. Doesn’t matter when we’re this early.

4. Nope. Our strong desire to be first doesn’t warrant their desire for our opinion. Not at all. Zero reciprocity.

5. It’s all subjective and unless one is willing to create their own brand - it’s whatever the maker wants it to be.

6. Yes including options on the first.

7. The entire process is 100% subjective.

It’s like being the first in line to ride a new roller coaster.
Yes. Cool. Yes. Risky. What a story!
Zero people to ask “how’d that go?”

Remember, this thing was in someone’s mind, barely put on paper, and was clay just 45 minutes ago…

Cheers to those who are tall enough to be on this ride! FOR THE DRIVERS

  1. You’ve owned previous Lotus or know someone who has , so know they are great cars.
  2. You’ve experienced strong residuals on Lotus cars to date
  3. Lotus now has much larger financial backing from Geely
  4. you’ve seen huge investment in new production line
  5. you’ve seen the success of launch and number of deposits placed
  6. you‘re going to experience minimal depreciation due to waiting lists
  7. you‘re going to have supercar looks for sports car money
  8. you’re going to smile every day you look at your car in the garage
  9. you’re going to smile even more every time you drive the cars
  10. life’s to short
In all seriousness though, appreciate those that are risk adverse (y)

For those of us that placed deposits early and are willing to proceed ……….

I bought Jag F-Type in the 2014 1st model year. Talk about leap of faith. Were there some bumps? Sure. (Several oxygen sensors, trim retrofit). Didnt phase me. i actually enjoyed driving the car back to the dealership. There's something to be said for beong the first on the block w a new toy. Drive a new Ftype off the lot today and its a bit of a ho-hum compared to the buzz in 2014. I enjoyed every minute of the fanfare - bumps and all. Cant wait to do it all over again w Emira. Take my money and run Lotus!
