After being a member of this forum for years and having a deposit down since July 2022, I'm proud to say I finally have the Emira home, PPF/ceramic and all!

Why did it take so long?

I always wanted the i4 and DCT. I had a very specific spec I wanted. I put the deposit down knowing I would be financially ready in about 2 years (kids out of preschool, wife back at work). My allocation came up summer 2023 and I wasn't financially ready yet so I passed, but kept my deposit. Had I known the delays, I would've just ordered, but I was trying to be a good customer and not leave Galpin with a...

Thanks and dittos on the spec! It's a custom wheel from GRP. If you can wait a couple weeks, I've got a video in production that'll explain why I got it, what I think of it, installation process, etc.

Took the car to Terranea in Palos Verdes last weekend (resort by the ocean in LA). Man, the valet sure treats you differently in this car. I'm not used to being parked out front and getting to leave the car in the fancy spot as they scramble to move Range Rovers out of your way.

That’s cool. The Emira is certainly one of the best looking cars produced in the world—so it makes sense they would park it in front!
