Hi All
So, it has been about 20yrs since my last Lotus when I used to run around in an 140bhp Elise. I've owned a lot of cars since then, some exotic, but Elise was one of my most memorable and fun cars (helped by the fact the roads back then had no gatso cameras, 20mph routes, cycle lanes etc!).
Current stable is mix of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche but I got drawn into Lotus ownership again, some nostalgia, but also because it looks ace but at the same time is not super shouty, small / compact for B-roads, not very expensive, and a car where I don't need to be concerned about adding too much mileage.
My only concern is its reliability .... so far not a good start ... and Lotus Customer care has been appalling (I reckon they are just overwhelmed by number of calls). But anyway, willing to give the car the benefit of the doubt for now and let's see how next few months pan out.
Oh, gone for Verdant Green / Tan interior with the black pack and Sports suspension.
