I recently placed an order for a V6 Emira and will need to get rid of a car.
Should I keep a 2003 E39 M5 with 100,000 miles or keep a 2004 911 Turbo Cabriolet?
I really like both but will need to part with one.
I know the Porsche will require more money and truly like them both.

I'd sell the 911 Turbo. The Emira and the 911 really do the same job, just in a different style. The M5 gives you flexibility to carry passengers and cruise long distances in comfort.

Keep E39 all day every day. Iconic generation! I will not sell my E46 M3 ever.

The M5 and for me it is not even close.

The 996 911 is and will continue to be for me, the least favoured 911 with its Boxter front end and Plasticy interior. If I wanted an older 911 I would go 997 r save up for a 993.

The E39 M5 is IMO the finest M5 and a sealed in classic for ever with that gorgeous V8 and space for friends. In the UK at least it is holing its value better as well.

I really love my 2008 BMW 335i E93 Cabriolet in Barbara red with Cream leather interior, full Öhlins coil over suspension and ESS N54 Twin Turbo flash ECU tuning. But this is the car that will need to go if my Emira FE i4 actually (ever) shows up.

Get rid of the wife first, keep all the cars....

I put my 991.2 GT3 Manual up for sale. Prefer the ackwardness of the Lotus Emira and its looks over GT3. Not keeping them both.

Sold my 47k kms, manual e46 M3 last year...and man I regret it. Will never get it back. Was factory new, drove like a new car, one of best engines ever produced.

I really love my 37000 miles/59000km 2008 BMW 335i E93 Cabriolet in Barbara red with Cream leather interior, full Öhlins coil over suspension and ESS N54 Twin Turbo flash ECU tuning (which retains emission control, and the car has passed the national compulsory check at the BMW/Alpina distributor’s main technical facility here in Tokyo, Japan with the flash tune in place.). But this is the car that will need to go if my Emira FE i4 actually (ever) shows up. I will keep my second car a 2013 Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo Touring. (My wife, and my parking spaces, are cool with two cars, but not with 3 😅 )

Sold my year old M4 Competition with 7k miles when the Emira arrived in April. 4k miles in and driving the Emira daily albeit semi-retired low miles useage!! Emira is by far the better drivers car so no regrets so far! :)
:):)

M5 every time. Given how ugly most new BMW’s are yours will always be in demand

Keep the M5. My Emira will pair with an E39 540i6 (200k miles) that I've had since '08 for all-weather duty. People will always give the E39s that "last of the classics" knod of approval...
