Finished my prototype for a touring cupholder.
The first iteration works pretty well...goes in and out quickly without a trace...

PS:
I was hoping that the guy at https://www.ultimatecupholders.com/ would develop something for the Emira, but he seems to be inactive?

This looks like 2 bicycle water bottle holders, minimal brackets (with felt/alcantara tape to cover bolts) and then some kind of threaded rod connecting the brackets with squishy hose over the rod section.

There's no "bottom" to these holders so coffee/bottle/whatever rests on the carpet.

The holders are 20ga stainless steel cut on a waterjet. Connectors are 6061 Aluminum covered with silicone hose…

No intention to sell them, but they could be improved and reproduced pretty easily I would think. Carbon might be nice…
