For your reference see attached picture that shows you can still velcro the tirekit in the normal position. I know some owners have moved the kit or put it behind the seats when using the trunk, so this way there's not a big gap in the trunk mat when the tire kit isn't there.

The straps are long enough to come up behind the lip for the tire kit.. so the kit sits on top of the mat
Reason I didn't do it for that was it would take up significant room and I know some people don't keep the tire kit in that place so they can get luggage and other bits in.. if I moulded it...
Haha! It will take some time.. I have 3d scanned the UK RHD model floor. Initially was thinking a TPE base layer with removable carpet tops.. not sure if this is actually what people want, think more seem to want rubber mats.

For the bootliner, i think TPE is definitely the way to go; I've got the exact same one for my Eletre and have been using it for months. It's very easy to clean...

Popped into my local dealer to give it a test. You can see managed to design it to mold around all of the bits in the boot pretty well! Has a good sized lip around the sides for any liquid spillages.
