I have a Genesis GV60 (fully electric). One of the best daily driver cars I've ever had. There is no "bonging" if you set it up initially not to do that. The automatic high beams and wipers work perfectly. You can turn off various driver assist setting if you want, but no need to since they...
Since this is the USA/Canada delivery thread, anyone know anything about cars coming into Canada? Maybe I've missed it, but haven't seen anything on that.
I was at a British car show yesterday (the largest in North America) near Burlington, Ontario. Lotus had an Emira there and Tony from Lotus Oakville was there. Though I don't think anything actually said that, it was all "Peninsula". Anyways, I talked with him a bit telling him I had a deposit...
So when they continue to produce cars with technical issues, there won't be the engineering staff to come up with the fixes. Many long gone companies got rid of their engineering staff once they had a product in production. Works in the short-term, then you go out of business when you need...
Great news? Bunch of bull. Him saying that production will start in August of this year for the V2? Did he mention that the original ones (the V1) will most likely not be delivered until next year?
Ferrari, Porche, Corvette....they all specify some sort of break-in procedure. No matter what tolerances or care go into building an engine, there are always parts that run against mating parts that need to bed in. Much better to do this slowly over time than force it quickly.
There are of course bad examples with every car. I've had 2 911's, a Boxster, and an i8 Roadster. All were flawless, no issues ever. I would certainly trust the reliably of any of them over a Lotus.
Wow!? The base version, which of course is what most people will get, not for another year and a half. Crazy! I cancelled recently since the dealer could not confirm I would get a car this year. Glad I did since there is a decent chance it wouldn't even be next year.
